Go City Pass Stockholm – Is It Worth It in 2025?

8 April 2025

Did you plan to visit Stockholm soon? If you’re looking to save money while visiting the top attractions in the Swedish capital, you might be wondering if the Go City Pass Stockholm is worth it or not. We used the Stockholm Go City Pass during our 2024 visit, and here’s what we thought about it!

What is the Go City Pass Stockholm?

Go City is a travel agency that sells passes to visit different cities around the world like New York, Paris or Stockholm. The principle is simple: you buy a pass for a limited duration (1 to 5 days) and you have access to several activities or landmarks in the destination you chose.

With regard to Go City Pass Stockholm, 69 activities are included. From museums to boat tours, you have plenty of choices! Hovewer, keep in mind that your time is limited and that you can’t visit all of them. All of the Top 10 Attractions you Should not Miss in Stockholm Article are included in the Go City Pass Stockholm!

How much does it cost?

The price of the pass depends on the duration, but something important to know is that the longer the duration, the cheaper the price per day becomes. When you decide to buy your pass, do not forget to search for a discount code. It is easy to find and you could get a substantial discount. Below is an example of the Go City Pass Stockholm Price.

Table showing price per days depending on the number of days you buy the Go City Pass Stockholm, with key features.
Screenshot of Go City Pass Stockholm prices,

You can see that for a 1 day pass, the price per day is SEK 999 however the price per day of a 5 day pass is only SEK 417.80. If you stay in Stockholm more than 3 days, we don’t recommend to choose the 1-day pass, as you probably won’t have enough time to visit everything you want and will have to miss out on some amazing activities. Furthermore, a 1-day pass might result in not getting your money’s worth due to time constraints.

Moreover, it is also important to note that most activities included in the Go City Pass only open at 10am and close at 5pm. That leaves just 7 hours a day to visit, not to mention the fact that you will need to take transport to get from one attraction to another which leaves you less time. Is it worth it?

To find out whether the Go City Pass is right for you, we recommend you ask yourself the following questions: How many days will I be staying in Stockholm?, Do I want to visit museums?, What is my budget?, Do I want to visit a lot to get the most out of the pass?

The first thing is your budget: buying the pass represents a substantial amount of money (between €87 and €183 per person) which could put a strain on your budget. We recommend that you buy the pass only if you are staying in Stockholm for at least 3 days.

In addition, the Go City Pass Stockholm mainly contains museums, so if that’s not your cup of tea, the pass is not for you!  Finally, in our experience, in order to make a profit on such a purchase, you will have to go from one visit to another. This can be very tiring and reduce the pleasure of discovering new things, so if you are the kind of person who likes to take their time, this pass might not be worth it for you!
